From time-to-time I take on business consulting contracts with firms of various sort. This work typically falls in to one the following categories:
1. Business innovation - consulting on the enablement possibilities and deployment of “social media” technologies (such as internal blogging, forums and social networking) to better connect, expose and empower human capital within large or distributed organizations.
2. Financial services – offering strategic consulting or general business analysis work drawing on my extensive domain experience in retail banking and particularly, the electronic commerce and payments card industries.
3. Product development - consulting on building and delivering products innovation as informed by insights into market trends, a customer-focused design philosophy and long experience developing electronically-delivered products.
